UGC NET 2025 June Session Results Declared: Key Details and Cutoffs Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the UGC NET 2025 results for the June session on July 21, 2025. Candidates who appeared in the examination, conducted from June 25 to June 29, 2025, can now access their scorecards and final answer keys on the official UGC NET website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The exam, held across more than 250 cities nationwide, consists of two papers: Paper 1 with 50 multiple-choice questions and Paper 2 with 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 300 marks. The UGC NET exam is conducted biannually to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.

The provisional answer key was released on July 5, followed by an objection window from July 6 to July 8, after which the final answer key and cutoffs were announced alongside the results. The cutoff marks are category-wise and subject-wise, covering qualification criteria for both Assistant Professor only and JRF + Assistant Professor posts.

To check the results, candidates must visit the official website, click on the 'UGC NET June 2025 scorecard' link, and enter their application number and password. It is important to note that there is no provision for re-evaluation or rechecking of the results, which have been finalized based on the final answer key.

The June session application process was conducted between April 16 and May 12, 2025. In the previous session, over 48,000 candidates qualified for Assistant Professorship and more than 1.14 lakh candidates qualified for PhD admissions, reflecting the exam's critical role in academic recruitment and research fellowship allocations.

All records related to the June 2025 UGC NET results will be retained for 90 days from the date of announcement. Aspirants are advised to download and print their scorecards for future reference.
