Rajvir Jawanda’s Wife’s Heartbreaking Plea Before Tragic Motorcycle Accident
Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda, known for hits like "Shaandaar" and "Kangani," tragically passed away on October 8, 2025, after succumbing to injuries sustained in a severe motorcycle accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
Eyewitnesses report that Jawanda, riding his powerful 1300cc superbike en route to Shimla, collided with stray cattle on the highway, resulting in a fatal crash. He was immediately hospitalized and subsequently transferred to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he was placed on life support due to critical head and spinal injuries.
Despite intensive medical care over nearly two weeks, complications from cardiac and neurological damage led to his death. Jawanda is survived by his wife and two children.
In a heartrending revelation, sources close to the family have shared that Jawanda’s wife had pleaded with him not to undertake the motorcycle ride that day, fearing for his safety given the hazardous conditions on the route. "She begged him to cancel the trip," said a family friend, "but he insisted he would be careful." This last conversation has added to the sorrow enveloping his loved ones and fans alike.
The Punjabi entertainment industry has mourned deeply, flooding social media with tributes to Jawanda’s humble nature and immense musical talent. Political leaders, including Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, have also expressed condolences, recognizing his loss as a grave blow to Punjabi art and culture.
The singer, who had earlier served as a police officer before his transition to music and acting, had a robust fan following and was admired for his distinctive voice and rustic appeal. His untimely demise at the age of 35 has left a void in the Punjabi music scene and among his admirers worldwide.
