The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has categorically dismissed recent social media rumors alleging a conflict between star pacer Shaheen Afridi and Pakistan's white-ball captain Salman Ali Agha, along with coach Mike Hesson. The rumors, suggesting displeasure from the captain and coaching staff over Shaheen's behavior and an internal dispute discussed with PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, have been firmly rejected. The PCB stated that no such incident occurred during any training or practice sessions and condemned the hearsay as a deliberate attempt to divide the national team.

Shaheen Afridi, widely regarded as Pakistan’s premier fast bowler over the past five years, was recently recalled to the Pakistan T20 International squad for the three-match series against the West Indies beginning in Florida.
