WBPSC Clerkship Result 2025 Declared: Over 89,800 Candidates Qualify for Next Stage

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has officially released the WBPSC Clerkship Result 2025 for the Part-I examination held on November 16 and 17, 2024. The results were announced on October 15, 2025, with a total of 89,821 candidates qualifying to appear for the upcoming Part-II written examination.

This result is a significant milestone in the recruitment process for 676 Clerkship vacancies across various government departments of West Bengal. The Part-I exam was an objective-type computer-based test assessing candidates’ eligibility and basic skills.

Candidates who have qualified are advised to download the merit list in PDF format from the official WBPSC website (https://psc.wb.gov.in). The PDF contains the roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates and acts as official confirmation of their qualification for the next stage.

The overall selection for the WBPSC Clerkship posts involves three stages:

• Part I: Objective Type Test (completed)
• Part II: Conventional Type Written Examination (date to be announced)
• Part III: Typing Test (evaluating elementary knowledge in computer operation and typing ability)

Category-wise cutoff marks for Part-I have also been published, showing thresholds like 49 for General category, 48 for OBC-A and OBC-B, 47 for SC, and 29 for ST candidates.

WBPSC has emphasized that the final merit list will be prepared by combining marks from both Part-I and Part-II exams, provided candidates qualify the Typing Test as well.
