SBI Clerk Prelims Result 2025 Declared: Over 8 Lakh Candidates Await Next Stage

The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the result of the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination 2025 on 4th November 2025. Aspirants who appeared for the exam on 20th, 21st, and 27th September 2025 can now check their qualifying status online at the official SBI website using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.

This year, the prelims exam saw participation from over 8 lakh candidates competing for 6,589 Junior Associate (Clerk) positions across the country. SBI has shortlisted candidates amounting to 10 times the vacancies to appear in the upcoming Mains examination scheduled tentatively on 17th November 2025.

The selection process involves three stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and a Language Proficiency Test. Notably, there is no interview round, and final selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in the Mains exam along with qualification in the language proficiency test.

Alongside the prelims results, SBI has also released the cut-off marks and scorecards detailing section-wise as well as overall performance. Candidates are advised to download these documents for reference and focus their preparation for the forthcoming Mains exam.
