Masked assailants open fire on Elvish Yadav's Gurugram residence; gang claims responsibility

In a shocking incident early Sunday morning on August 17, 2025, over 25 rounds were fired at the Gurugram residence of popular YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav. The attack took place around 5:30 AM in Sector 57 when three masked men on bikes arrived at the location.

CCTV footage revealed the chilling sequence wherein two of the assailants opened fire on Yadav's house; one of the shooters was even seen standing at the main gate while discharging bullets. After a brief pause—apparently to reload their guns—the firing resumed before the trio fled the scene. Fortunately, Elvish Yadav was not present at home as he was away on work commitments outside Haryana. No family members or caretakers inside the house were injured during the attack.

According to Ram Avtar Yadav, Elvish's father, approximately 25-30 bullets were fired, and the family was asleep at the time. The incident came as a surprise since no prior threats were received. Police quickly responded, cordoning off the area and launching a detailed investigation including forensic examination and analysis of CCTV footage.

Hours after the incident, the notorious Himanshu Bhau gang claimed responsibility via a social media post. The gang accused Elvish Yadav of promoting gambling apps that allegedly harm many households. Himanshu Bhau's gang is reportedly led by a fugitive gangster based in Portugal. The post featured gun illustrations and the gang's signature tagline 'BHAU GANG SINCE 2020.'

The Gurugram police have confirmed the incident, stating that more than a dozen rounds were fired and that a thorough investigation is underway. Efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in this brazen attack.

Elvish Yadav, known for his comedic content and reality TV presence, now faces a serious threat that has alarmed his family and fans alike. The police have assured prompt action, while the digital community watches closely for further developments.
