HTET Result 2025 Declared: Only 14% Candidates Qualify for Haryana Teaching Eligibility Test
The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) officially announced the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) Result 2025 on November 10, 2025. The results are now accessible on the official website bseh.org.in, where candidates can check their scores for all three levels of eligibility: Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).
The HTET 2025 examination was conducted on July 30 and 31, 2025. The test serves as a mandatory qualification for teaching positions in government schools across Haryana for classes ranging from I to XII. This year, a total of around 47,000 candidates qualified, reflecting a pass percentage of approximately 14%.
To access the HTET result, candidates must log in on the official portal using their roll number and date of birth. Separate links are provided for each level of the examination to download scorecards that include section-wise marks and qualifying status.
Qualifying marks vary based on category:
- General category candidates must secure a minimum of 60% (90 out of 150 marks).
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Physically Challenged candidates require 55% (83 out of 150).
- Differently abled candidates must meet the 60% threshold as well.
This tiered system ensures equitable opportunity across different societal groups.
Significantly, the 2025 examination incorporated biometric verification conducted in August to enhance the authenticity and transparency of candidate participation. Only those who passed biometric verification were eligible for the final certificate issuance, whose validity is lifelong.
The low overall pass rate highlights the exam's rigor and the competitive nature of teaching positions in Haryana. Candidates who qualify can apply for government teaching roles aligned with their certification level (PRT for classes I-V, TGT for VI-VIII, and PGT for IX-XII).
Steps to check HTET Result 2025:
