Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Kaantha’ Sets a New Benchmark in Tamil Cinema with Intense Drama and 1950s Madras Backdrop

The much-awaited teaser of the Tamil period drama film 'Kaantha' starring Dulquer Salmaan was released on July 28, coinciding with the actor’s birthday. The teaser promises a gripping narrative set against the vibrant and transformative backdrop of 1950s Madras, transporting audiences into Tamil cinema's golden era.

'Kaantha' is directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and jointly produced by Spirit Media along with Dulquer Salmaan’s production house, Wayfarer Films. The film is slated for release on September 12, 2025.
