CBSE Class 10 Compartment Result 2025 Declared: Pass Percentage, How to Check, and Next Steps

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 compartment (supplementary) exam results for 2025 on August 5, 2025. This announcement comes shortly after the exams were conducted on July 22, 2025.

Out of 1,43,648 students who registered for the supplementary exam, 1,38,898 appeared, and 67,620 students cleared the exam, marking a pass percentage of 48.68%. Among the candidates, female students outperformed males, with pass percentages of 51.04% and 47.41%, respectively, reflecting a performance gap of 3.63% in favor of girls.

Students can check their compartment results through the official CBSE websites, cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in. To access their results, students should have their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and security pin ready. Additionally, marksheets are available on the DigiLocker app for easier access.

The verification process for the supplementary exam results will commence from August 8, 2025. Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation through the CBSE portal. Verification requires a fee of INR 500 per subject, while re-evaluation costs INR 100 per question. The applications must be submitted online at cbse.gov.in with necessary credentials.

This year, the class 12 compartment results were declared earlier on August 1, 2025. The prompt declaration of Class 10 compartment results helps students proceed with their academic or vocational plans without delay.
