2025 Mahindra Thar 3-Door Unveiled: Refreshed Design, Enhanced Features, and Competitive Pricing

On October 3, 2025, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. launched the refreshed 2025 Mahindra Thar 3-door, strengthening its position as one of India’s most beloved SUVs. The update maintains the vehicle’s iconic rugged appeal while introducing subtle yet impactful design tweaks, new comfort features, and smart connectivity options, all starting at an accessible price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Building on the established legacy of the Thar brand, which has amassed a passionate community of over 3 lakh owners, the new 3-door variant incorporates styling elements inspired by the recently launched Thar Roxx. Notable exterior changes include a radiator grille finished in the same color scheme as the body, dual-tone silver trims on both bumpers, rear parking cameras, rear washer and wiper, and the addition of two new color options — Tango Red and Battleship Grey. Although the alloy wheels remain unchanged, convenience features such as a fuel-lid release switch from the driver’s seat and pillar-mounted grab handles improve usability.

Inside the cabin, owners will appreciate updates like power window switches located on the door panels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sliding front armrest, rear AC vents, and an Adventure Stats suite displaying parameters like altitude, bank angle, pitch, and yaw, enhancing the off-road experience.
